With all the data and noise inundating today’s entrepreneur or business manager, determining the most important thing you should be working on right now is not always easy.  That’s why the Gap View Enterprise Suite starts with a series of Enterprise Health Check-Ups.  These Gap Assessment tools focus on the critical components of your business to highlight critical gaps in performance.

Step 1: Assess

The four strategic gap assessment tools, or Enterprise Health Check-ups that launch the Gap View Enterprise Suite cover all four key components of the Gap View Business Model.  Each Health Check outlines a range of best practices in each area and asks the team to assess the status of that practice based on two criteria:

  1. How well implemented is the practice in the enterprise?

  2. How important is this practice to the success of the enterprise?

A Gap Index is created from these results that makes it easy to identify critical areas that need attention.

Health Check #1 –
Core Processes

Virtually every business relies on the four key process of Product and Service Development, Order Procurement, Order fulfillment and Customer Service.

Health Check #2 –
Support Systems

This examines the support systems of Human Resources, Finance, Technology and Research and Development that support the 4 core processes and foster their smooth functioning.

Health Check #3 – Organization and Alignment

The key components of Values, Brand, Purpose, Mission, Vision and People are the encompassing bands of the operating systems.  The operating components of the model cannot function smoothly without these critical factors being aligned.

Health Check #4 –
Legal, Compliance, Succession and Exit Plan

Determine if there are any underlying surprises that could jeopardize the long-term viability of the enterprise and ensure that proper Succession Planning and Exit Strategies are in place to foster the transition of the enterprise through a possible change in ownership.

Your Enterprise Health Checkups are offered either online or in person.

Virtual Enterprise Health Check

  • You and your team complete the virtual business assessment tool, followed by a debrief advisory call to review the results and explore different pathways forward to optimize your organization

In-Person Enterprise Health Check

  • Bring your team together for a full-day workshop. In the morning, your team will complete the assessment tool and compile the scores. In the afternoon, we will debrief and discuss different pathways forward to optimize your organization.
